Just a little thing to go on this year’s Christmas wish list?
Is it really day 3 and thus my last day with David and the guys from Airplanes4rent? I am afraid so – but I know we have left the best for last! Yes, I did not make it to Key West and went to Orlando rather than to the Bahamas …. but hey, wouldn’t life be boring when the bucket list would be empty? Simply more reasons to come back!
So what did we do today? Well, first of all we waited…..as the retractable gear of our very first plane was fixed, however problems with the radio continued. But we used the time very sufficiently….spending (too much) money in the nearby pilot shop and going for a little excursion to the jet pilot’s lounge. Why oh why are airports in Europe not equipped like this? And why do they have all these lovely planes standing here? Pilots and flying enthusiasts could easily spend days here without getting bored just watching things around you.
But anyway….finally we take off! And what should I say? Pictures say more than any words so sit back, relax and enjoy watching our 3 minutes movie flying Fort Lauderdale Executive towards Keys Biscayne and back with beautiful views of Florida’s coastline.
